Every tea requires its own steeping process, something most of the population in the world doesn’t even realize! Well you are in luck, below are our recommendations on how to brew the perfect cup of tea every time.

Steeping Instructions:

  • White Tea: 3 - 5 minutes steeping time, water temperature 165* - 170* F
  • Japanese Green Tea: 1 - 3 minutes steeping time, water temperature 165* - 180* F
  • Other Green Teas: 3 - 4 minutes, water temperature 175* - 185* F
  • Oolong Tea: 3 - 5 minutes, water temperature 180* - 190* F
  • Black Tea: 3 minutes, water temperature 212* F
  • Pu-Erh Tea: 3 minutes, water temperature 212* F
  • Rooibos and Herbals Tea: 5 - 7 minutes, water temperature 212* F
  • Blooming Tea: 5 minutes, water temperature 175* F - 185* F
  • Yellow Tea: 3 - 4 minutes, water temperature 175* F - 185* F
  • Purple Tea: 3 - 4 minutes, water temperature 175* F - 185 *F. In order to obtain the signature purple color, after steeping add a splash of lemon juice and watch the magical transition happen before your very eyes!
