Whimsically themed food and beverage offerings have become a key tool for guest engagement in theme parks. A place like Disneyland is no exception. With multiple holidays and food festivals throughout their calendar year, Disneyland has recently stepped up their tea game. The ladies of Chado Tea, Bianca and Siobhán, have visited Disneyland a few times in the last year to see what they are bringing to the table.
In 2025 consumers are looking for more than just an average drink, they are looking for something that is not only unique but also an experience. The ladies of Chado found that some items gave them that experience, whereas others missed the mark. Their number one question for Disney, is Disney working with tea companies and people in the industry to create and craft these recipes? Tea can be a simple or a complex addition to a recipe depending on the flavor profile. Ladies such as Bianca and Siobhán for example, could be a key asset to a large company such as Disney when they are looking to craft tea inspired offerings.
Will Disney ever reach out to people within the tea industry to help them in this journey? Or will they go at it alone and sometimes hit the mark or miss the mark? Time will tell and the ladies of Chado are standing at the ready to help Disney with that journey!
